Prayer Shawl
Who Is This Gal Named Teri?
I have tried several times with no avail to publish my picture in my profile, so here it is.
I am happily married to a wonderful man who supports me in everything I do. We each have 3 children. I have a son and two daughters and he has a daughter and two sons. This blog is one of my hobbies as is loom knitting, needle knitting, crocheting, sewing and quilting. I do custom sewing, specializing in formal dresses and I also do minor alterations/repairs.
I hope you enjoy my site and visit often.
Feel free to leave me a comment, I love reading them!
Stash
I decided to take a look at my stash.
I was hoping for some inspiration to help me decide what to make next, but I just ended up being overwhelmed. It feels like something is missing from my stash....could it be more yarn?
The good thing about pulling my stash out and taking pictures is that now I don't have to pull it all out to see what I have, I can just look at the pictures!
Are You Talking To Moi?
This is my cat Willow. She loves to sleep on my printer. She is my faithful companion. She follows me everywhere. If I am working on a project, she is there right beside me. I think she was a dog in her prior life because she sure acts like one.
Well back to the topic of fiber arts. I have been busy working on a prayer shawl and it should be finished in the next couple of days.
Sometimes I wish I could have just one day without interuptions so I could just get my projects done! But such is life with kids.
Well to end this post for today, I will leave you with some pictures of a couple more scarfs. I seem to be making a lot of these lately.
My Scarf Originals
Speed bumps in the road of life
I have been dealing with a few speed bumps in the road of life recently. I came down with a nasty cold that sent me to the doctor and then to bed. Then my computer monitor decided to get sick too, so I had to set up my old 14" monitor until my new one arrives. We finally got winter! It has been snowing off and on for the past couple of days. Not much accumulation but its still fun to watch.
Well back to the topic of fiber arts.....I have been working on a knitted scarf and it is about finished. I will post a picture of it as soon as it is complete.
Here are a couple of pictures of recently finished hats I made for the kids.
